Do you have experience working with service & customer support for technologically advanced products within software and hardware? Do you like working with problem-solving close to customers and see yourself as an ambassador both externally and internally? CellaVision is currently strengthening its Customer Support department and is looking for an additional Technical Support Engineer.
The Customer Support team
The Customer Support team at CellaVision consists of three competent colleagues and one manager that are responsible for supporting our customers with the installation of our devices, training, and technical service as well as training our sales organization and our partners.
In your role as Technical Support Engineer at CellaVision, you will work daily with customer contacts. Your work will include problem-solving in the field as well as via phone or email remotely, which requires you to have an ability to familiarize yourself with complex problems and a well-developed ability to describe and explain measures to solve different situations. You will report to our Global Customer Support Manager.
Key tasks:
- Perform installations of instruments and software, perform maintenance operations of our instruments, and carry out repairs on-site at the customer's premises. Heavy lifting may occur during installations.
- Design, plan and conduct service training both remote and on-site at the customer's premises.
- Give presentations and be involved in the planning and implementation of several customer seminars and training activities annually.
- Establish and maintain contact with contracted distributors' service organizations.
- Continuously follow market trends and competition to assist CellaVision with information to further develop the products according to customers' wishes.
- Work in close collaboration with other functions within CellaVision to ensure efficiency in processes around customer support.
- Writing instructions, circular letters, technical notes and assist in service manual writing in close collaboration with Technical writing.
Qualifications
- Higher education in technology, with good knowledge of computers and networks.
- 2-5 years of experience working with customers and partners with technically advanced products.
- 2-5 years of experience in educating customers and partners
- Strong technical interest and understanding
- Good simultaneous ability
- A good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish as well as in English
Nice to have:
- A background with experience from the medical device industry and/or education in biomedicine

Finally, you have a sense of humor and enjoy helping and working in close collaboration with your team and the rest of the organization.
