Job profile:
As a Technical Support Expert & Lead Trainer, you will be a part of the Second Line Support team at Getinge Disinfection AB. In this role one of the key focus is to support the field technicians with product expertise on how to solve complex technical issues for our customers. The support is mainly performed via our web based program ServiceNow, phone and emails, but on occasions, you will also travel out to customer installations to provide on-site support and training. As a Technical Support Expert, there is also a need for internal support to R&D / Engineering- Production- and Quality department. Another important key task is the job as a Lead Trainer. You will work closely with Getinge Academy and the training team on providing input to the development of training packages, as well as conducting face-to-face classroom training or remote training provided by Getinge Academy.
Key responsibilities:
Support duties:
Technical support for all products manufactured at Getinge Disinfection AB, which means that promptly answer incoming questions from Sales & Service Units
Obtain and examine additional data for deviations. If necessary, visit Customers to collect investigation materials
Internal technical support for R&D, Production and Quality Assurance / Supplier Quality Assurance
Participate in project teams for development projects regarding technical support, service, documentation and training
Review of technical product documentation, such as technical manuals
Training duties:
Provide Subject Matter Expertise input to the Getinge Academy for the development of technical training material
Provide Subject Matter Expertise input to the development of assessments for certification of customer facing technical staff
Review and approve technical training packages (training materials and assessments), as well as initiate updates due to product portfolio modifications
Deliver technical training provided by Getinge Academy, utilizing the training packages
Qualifications and skills:
Our ideal candidate has a university degree in engineering (automation / electrical / mechanics) and preferably experience from working with washer-disinfectors or other medical devices. Additional experience from technical related training and knowledge sharing is merited.
Personality
As a person, you have excellent social skills and a passion for meeting, helping, and coaching people. You have practical and technical capabilities and interests, and truly enjoys sharing your knowledge and experiences with others. Since you will be working in a global role, fluency in written and oral Swedish and English language is a must. Further experience from and understanding of multi-cultural job environment is highly beneficial.
What we offer:
The position is based in Växjö, Sweden and you can expect approximately 20-40 days of travel per year. At Getinge Disinfection AB in Växjö, we offer a varied job where you meet both internal and external customers that value your expertise and support. Production, R&D, Market Support and Product Management for washer-disinfectors are also located in Växjö, which facilitates a close collaboration between departments.
