Job profile:
As a Technical Support Technician, you will be a part of the Second Line Support team at Getinge Disinfection AB. In this role one of the key focus is to support the field technicians with product expertise and solve technical issues. The support is mainly performed via our web based program ServiceNow, phone and emails, but on occasions, you will also travel out to customer installations and examine additional data for deviations and provide support.
As a Technical Support Technician, there is also a need for internal support, both in project sales and customer specific orders, but also supporting R&D in product and technical documentation development and maintenance. Another important key task is support to the Quality department with technical investigations of complaints. In this part of the job, you will work closely with the Quality Engineer and our complaint handlers in Poland.
Key responsibilities:
Support duties:
Technical support for all products manufactured at Getinge Disinfection AB, which means that promptly answer incoming questions from Sales & Service Units
Support to the Quality Engineer and complaint handlers in technical investigations
Obtain and examine additional data for deviations, and if necessary, visits customers to collect investigation materials
Internal technical support for R&D, Production and Quality Assurance / Supplier Quality Assurance
Review of technical product documentation, such as technical manuals
Key user and support to internal functions who is using ServiceNow
On a monthly basis, in an analytic way, follow up questions in ServiceNow
Follow up warranty cases on a monthly basis, and reimburse our customers

Qualifications and skills:
Our ideal candidate has a university degree in engineering (automation / electrical / mechanics) and preferably experience from working with washer-disinfectors or other medical devices. Additional experience from technical related training and knowledge sharing is merited. As a person, you have excellent social skills and a passion for meeting, helping, and coaching people. You have practical and technical capabilities and interests, and truly enjoys sharing your knowledge and experiences with others. Since you will be working in a global role, fluency in written and oral Swedish and English language is a must. Further experience from and understanding of multi-cultural job environment is highly beneficial.
What we offer:
The position is based in Växjö, Sweden and you can expect approximately 15-30 days of travel per year.
At Getinge Disinfection AB in Växjö, we offer a varied job where you meet both internal and external customers that value your expertise and support. Production, R&D, Market Support and Product Management for washer-disinfectors are also located in Växjö, which facilitates a close collaboration between departments.
