Do you have the knowledge and skills in software testing? We are currently looking for a driven test analyst who would apply their knowledge into the banking and financial world.
Work task
You will be working in a well-established company within the banking and finance sector. Their business is growing and so is there need to develop new products. Right now they are implementing a E-trading system for Fixed Income. The system will cover both Market making and the Sales trading process and integrate to risk and back-office systems.
Your job will be Quality Assurance (test) of all development/configuration including end-to-end processes for the implementation. You will be cooperating with Test Manager (including vendor) for each subproject to execute on common plan.
Desired qualification
You will be joining a testing team working as part of a wider application development and support team. The platform is a bespoke Electronic Trade Capture and workflow application for the Fixed Income Credit Derivatives business area. The application´s principal users are Front Office (Traders and Sales). The team is temporarily increasing in size to cater for the next phase of the programme. The successful candidate will work within the team to progress the project and also ongoing enhancement and maintenance work, as well as being involved in the documentation and management of releases.
• Trade Processing / Trade workflow knowledge (understanding of Fixed Income Flow - Front to Back)
• Bloomberg knowledge (Highly desirable)
• Calypso (Highly desirable)
• Exposure to Automation (Selenium, Quick Test Pro (Highly desirable)
• Fixed Income Asset Class and Product Knowledge
• Knowledge of HP Quality Centre
• Knowledge of Jira
• Extensive experience manual testing experience with a good knowledge of standard test documentation and
test planning
• Advanced knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies
• Knowledge and experience of working with Agile & Waterfall development methods
• Write and Execute Functional tests
• Review Requirements and Usecase documentation
• Produce reports on defects found and tests executed
• Provide small-scale support for Business Analyst and vendor testing team when required
