Technical tester in Uppsala with an interest in test management

Who are we?

nWise works to improve accessibility when it comes to communication. We do this through the global supply of IT solutions for accessible telephone calls, making a difference to people’s daily lives.

Through our platform, MMX, we are able to provide a number of communication solutions. Everything from simpler call center setups, text and video phone apps, to advanced solutions for critical emergency services calls for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing community.

The platform is under stringent reliability and quality requirements, and we now want to reinforce our development team with another tester or testing manager, at our offices in central Uppsala.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone analytical and methodical. You should be a good team player and want to create an open and trusting workplace together with your co-workers. Our entire work ethic is built on problem solving and commitment.

You should possess leadership skills and have the ability to organize tasks with others, whilst being able to identify where we’re headed and how we’re going to get there.

We’re looking for someone with a few years’ experience of testing or testing management, as well as an education from an institute of technology or vocational training, or a more specific testing education.

You should be competent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

It’s also beneficial if you have experience of:

- agile working methods
- test automation
- Browser Stack or similar
- POSTman or similar
- deciphering trace and system logs


Your tasks would include:

- planning, managing, and documenting testing and verification of the company’s products
- responsibility for how changes in target environments affect verifications of the company’s products
