Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Technical Tester to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Conducting comprehensive testing activities following the customer’s defined processes and test methodologies.
Performing technically intricate manual testing tasks to validate system behavior.
Designing and creating automated test cases using JUnit, adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
Maintaining and enhancing an existing test framework developed in Java and shell scripts for automation.
Procuring and preparing test data to simulate real-world scenarios.
Setting up and configuring technical test environments for both manual and automated testing.
Troubleshooting, analyzing, and meticulously documenting test execution results.
Collaborating in requirements reviews and refinement to ascertain testing needs.
Ensuring adequate test coverage and maintaining traceability between tests and requirements.
Assuming leadership of one of the teams within the IST, comprised of solution architects, Java developers, and technical testers.
Engaging with support roles including delivery managers, product owners, requirements analysts, test managers, and operations specialists.
Exercising agile leadership skills and fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

What you bring:
A minimum of 4 years of collective experience in the last 5 years in test automation on Unix/Linux platforms (backend), technical testing in complex system environments with multiple technical integrations, and technical testing within government agency systems.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the last 5 years in Java/JavaEE7 development, utilizing tools like JUnit, XML/XSD, Intellij, and SQL.
Successful involvement in at least 2 projects where test automation was effectively implemented.
Proficiency with test management tools like JIRA.
Post-secondary education in Data/IT or equivalent competency.
Certified Scrum Master within one of the agile frameworks.
Familiarity with tools such as Maven, Jenkins, WLS, PuTTY, Selenide Automation Framework, SoapUI, and REST.
ISTQB Advanced certification.

Desired Skills (Meritorious):
A year of experience leading and conducting agile ceremonies.
Collaboration experience between teams operating in diverse parts/areas.
In-depth knowledge of the Scrum agile methodology.
Proficiency in Jira.
