Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and we are now strengthening our Business Category Unit (BCU) Surgical Workflows with a flexible and communicative Technical Trainer. Surgical Workflows is dependent on high level of expertize amongst service engineers in the sales organization. The key purpose of this position and team is to perform technical training and to ensure programs are created and available to enable sales regions keeping the needed level of competence in the organization. We are looking for a person with a passion for technical equipment and an interest in training others. The position

The objective for these positions is to train local trainers as well as service technicians of the sales regions. Ensuring, through information and training that your trainees have the right skills. You will actively be driving the improvement work in order to increase quality of the technical training

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

•Develop training programs for new equipment – incl. pre-learning, facilitor lead training and post-training follow-up program.
•Update training programs as needed in relation to product updates.
•Work closely with Technical Documentation team to ensure the supporting documents are suitable as basis for training.
•Work closely with 2nd line support function in supply chain to ensure feedback from market is reflected in training.
•Driving the improvement work in order to increase quality of the technical training

The position is located in Getinge (Sweden) or Rastatt (Germany) and the role requires 30 – 45 days of travel per year.

The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have the following Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

•At least 5 years of experience within Technical service
•Experience with training and competency assessment
•Team work in an international setting
•Steam technology, disinfection and sterilization methods
•Creating training documents
•Good presentation skills
•Good verbal and written skills
•Fluent in English, another language (e.g.Swedish, German, French) would be a plus.

As a person you are/have:
•A collaborative approach with all parts of the organization including sales and service.
•A motivating trainer who drives results and takes responsibility for his trainings
•Willingness to travel.
•A self-starter who works well independently and in a team, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment. The right attitude is crucial.
•Good handling of stress.
