We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

About us
The Global Learning & Development team is a learning provider for the audience of retailer personnel, customer care agents and competence teams in the National Sales Companies (NSC’s) as well as Importers. We give global direction to the regions to adapt our messages to local needs and standards. We’re constantly working on a self-development to find the best training approach and a proper digital eco-system aiming to assure a modern learning solution for our learners.
What you’ll do?
You’ll be one of the team responsible for the project management, development, and delivery of our Aftersales (Technical & Non-technical) training activities.  Working closely with other project managers as well as colleagues from across Service Operations, you act as the lead and SME in building the development activities that help us to drive competence improvement across the Volvo Cars network.  Alongside a focus on general competence development, you will also take ownership for establishing what additional skills focus is required when we launch new products into the marketplace.
Among your first projects will be a Damage Repair Training program.
Do you fit the profile?
We’re looking for someone who can strengthen our technical training team with experience in project management, content creation and have a good knowledge of different learning styles and methods. As a result, you’ll already be familiar with vehicles that use high voltage drivetrains.  Coupled to your technical expertise it’s important that you are comfortable delivering training on complex technical matters to a range of learners.  That could include face to face as well as digital learning to both end learners or market trainers so confidence in front of groups or a camera is a must.
As a minimum we’d also expect that you have:
•    Automotive technical background
•    Knowledge of Volvo Cars System and process is preferable
•    Experience in project management
•    The ability to demonstrate technical operations confidently
•    Ability to analyse and understand the Volvo Cars business objectives and translate this into appropriate and effective training interventions (desirable)
•    Experience of designing technical training (desirable)
•    Up to date knowledge of different learning styles and methods (desirable)

Who are you?
This is a role operating at a global level, with a wide range of stakeholders, so you should be comfortable communicating with people at both a technical and commercial level. It may be that you’ve carried out a similar role elsewhere, or maybe delivered technically focused training at a market level and would like to take the next step into a global role.
You have a high level of integrity and professionalism and are keen to take ownership in your areas of expertise. You are structured and result oriented and have a strong personal drive to get things done in a correct way on time. Strong prioritization skills will be an asset in this role as well as finding new ways and always looking for smart initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and come up with new solutions in challanging situations.
