Do you want be part of our Visualisation department with the ambition of becoming the best in our industry? To Lead a team of senior and expert Artists and Developers for streamlined content creation, future customer experience and XR development?
We are now searching for an experienced Team Manager with perceptive leadership skills. To succeed in this role, we believe you need a passion for leading and developing others, enjoy empowering people and embrace an agile mindset and culture.
The Technical Visualisation Manager will be an important part to develop the team into the future. With a focus on realising design projects into commercial assets mainly through the concepts Digital Twin and Digital Universe. By improving content creation pipeline and create customer experiences of tomorrow, we create the opportunity for our surrounding world to explore our products.
What you will do
As the Technical Visualization Manager, you will be an integral part of developing the team into the future and set new standards. You will build great cross network with other Design departments, as well as departments cross Volvo Cars within Engineering, Digital, UX, Commercial and with external agencies globally.
To be able to create magic with your team you´ll need to be experienced in resource management, run technical visualisation productions cross business areas, work with product management according to agile framework and enable other teams from both Design as well as other areas in the company to remove barrier of execution in ongoing deliveries. You will support and develop competencies, strategies and working methods for and with the group.
The Technical Visualisation Manager reports to the Director of Visualisation Operations.
Do you fit the profile
We are looking for a committed and inspiring leader who is passionate about the power of visualisation and wants to be on the bleeding edge of technology within the area.
You find energy and motivation in realising others’ potential, allowing them to grow. Thanks to your excellent communication skills you have the ability to create strong relationships based on trust and integrity.
We believe you have a master’s degree from a university, technical college or similar and a great understanding of visualisation software and technical pipeline for content creation. You have several years of relevant experience within this technical area, i.e. from computer game industry, CGI production company, product experience company, as well as leadership.
Last but not least you are fluent in English since Volvo is a global company.
