Role and responsibilities
As our Technical Writer you will be an important part of providing a coherent and flawless customer onboarding and experience, create written material to support product development activities such as manuals, tutorials, blog posts, specifications and help systems.
Your days will be filled with:
Write, edit, publish, and distribute new and existing content,
Work closely with various departments (Education Services, Customer Care, Marketing and R&D) to be part of, and understand projects and their specific requirements.
Independently gather information from Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop, organize, and write user manuals, tutorials, technical specifications, API manuals, and metrics reports.
Work with product development teams (Product Managers, Product Owners, Customer Success) to plan and prioritize the work around products releases.
Develop style guides and content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
Keeping an eye for proper technical SEO



To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:
2-4 years’ industry experience
Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
Certification through the Society for Technical Communicators
Experience using XML authoring tools to create documentation
Firm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) is desirable
