We are looking for a dedicated Technical Writer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is part of our passionate Technical Writers team based in Västerås, where you will be a key player in developing the standardization of Northvolt technical documents.
About the job
You will prepare new technical documentation as well as update, improve and maintain existing documents. You will be responsible for gathering input from subject matter experts and transferring this to relevant, modern, and user-friendly information.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with our R&D, Production Engineering, and Maintenance to produce content, which is educational, user-friendly, accurate, professional and in accordance with Northvolt standards.
Create new technical documentation for various users (technical and non-technical)
Update, improve and maintain existing documentation.

Skills & Requirements
We believe you have:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field or with a focus on English, writing, or communications
2-5 years' experience as a Technical Writer or in related job role
Experience in technical documentation
Knowledge and experience from XML and XML authoring tools. (Preferably Paligo or similar)
Strong writing, production, technical editing, and communication skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities
Ability to address feedback efficiently and thoroughly on published content from internal support representatives
Fluent in technical English, written and verbal.

Bonus points for:
Experience from and/or interest in batteries or power systems
Experience working in a technical startup company
Experience in producing illustrations
Experience in creating documentation for audiences with various levels of technical skill
Experience from a multi-cultural environment
