Technical writer

We are looking for a Technical writer who will work close to the technical content designer and transform the information in a clear and concise manner to be able to convey information appropriately for a variety of audiences. The technical writer is a professional writer who simplifies the complex that helps people understand and use a product or perform a job.

As a person you are self-motivated, creative and results-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate and are used to working in an international organization. You are interested to stay updated and follow technology developments and develop yourself further in technical documentation.


The job responsibilities include:
*Take part of the workflow for creating end-user documentation, product manuals, maintenance instructions. to ensure that the end-user can complete the steps safely and accurately.

*Transform the information from the technical content designer to clear, concise and understandable information
*Adjust the information depending on audiences and learning
*Apply STE to existing and potential content
*Create and maintain the information architecture
*Gather feedback from customers or manufacturers to revise product and service information is as needed.
Our expectations:
*You have a university degree in Communication, writing or similar.
*You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
*Proven working experience in technical writing, excellent writing and grammar skills.
*Good communication skills. Technical writers need to know how to ask questions.
*Strong listening skills will be required to capture the information necessary and to know which follow-up questions need to be answered
*Good STE knowledge and it is desirable if you have product knowledge ,and experience in XML and CMS systems.
*Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail and ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text.
*Be a team player in a multinational network and travels occurs

The placement of the position is Hudiksvall, Sweden. The position is a fixed-term employment during maternity leave, start from May 2017 to August 2018.
