Technical Writer / Automotive Engineer

Do you see it as a natural and exciting challenge to describe complex technical structures in a distinct and pedagogic way? You will work as a consultant in the automotive industry to create diagnostic and function descriptions of electronics in vehicles. The goal is to help the mechanic to understand the functions and hardware/software for the engine. You will produce information both with text and illustrations to guide the mechanic through the functions of the engine. This position involves complex products and places high demands on the information and therefore requires experience in technical writing from the automative sector. Qualifications: * University degree (MSc or BSc) within Computer Science, Electronics or Mechanics * Experience from the Automotive Industry, preferably from working with engines and ECU:s * Experience from working with technical documentation * Experience from working with Failure Mode Effect Analysis * Good knowledge of engine functions from an ECU-perspective * Personal interest in electronics, embedded software and engine technology * A communicative team player that is easy to cooperate with * Thorough and analytical * Good ability in multi-tasking and independent problem solving
