Technical Writer in Engineering & supply (Food & Water HSS)

About the Job

As a technical writer you will be responsible for creating system manuals for our high-speed separator systems, for customers in the food and life science industries. You will create instructions for the operator to follow and write descriptions of the systems, functions, and operating conditions.

You will be part of our project organization and collaborate with project managers and automation engineers to understand the program and logic behind the separator’s PLC systems (Allen Bradley or Siemens).

You will also have contact with the documentation hub in India, that supports you in your work.

You work with high standard of accuracy and can work under pressure, to balance competing priorities, and to meet deadlines. Also, you can understand complex technical concepts and translate these into clear and concise content for our customers.

You enjoy knowing thoroughly about the process that you're writing about, so you understand not just how it works, but why it matters to the people using it.

Your background
* Degree in engineering.
* Previous experience in technical information and writing.
* Experience from working with XML editors, like Arbortext, and content management systems (CMS), like Tridion Docs.
* Basic knowledge of how to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), electrical drawings, and software design specifications (SDS). Also, basic understanding of separators is a plus.
* Experience from life science and food industry is beneficial.
* Excellent English writing skills with emphasis on grammatical structures and tone of voice.
