Technical Writer within the Telecom industry

We are looking for technical writers to work mainly within the telecom industry. As a technical writer at Sigma Technology, you will be part of a team that ensures our customers’ products – with the right information at the right place – can be installed, used, and serviced.

Within your role, you will be responsible for creating and updating product information based on various forms of input for new and exciting products from global companies. As a Technical Writer you will be working closely with development teams, product owners, and other professionals within e.g., sales, marketing and service in an agile environment. You will write and update online help systems, user guides, reference guides, and programming guides.
As such, we are looking for candidates who are good problem solvers, thorough, and good at meeting and keeping deadlines.

Required skills and experience:
- Technical background: MSc, BSc, or similar
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
- Work experience in technical writing or technical information area
- Familiar with XML, SGML, and content management systems
Preferred skills and experience:
- Good ability in multi-tasking and independent problem solving
- Analytical, thorough, communicative, and result-oriented
- University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, technical information and documentation, or similar
