Technical Writers till Dellner

Dellner is the world leading supplier of complete train connection systems for train builders and train operators worldwide. We provide couplers, dampers, gangways and shock absorbers as well as global aftermarket services. The head office is located in Falun, Sweden and Dellner has sales and service organizations in 12 countries. The turnover is 90 MEUR with around 400 empolyees located across the globe.

We are looking for two resources to strengthen our Global Design department team. The position is placed in Falun (Vika) and you report to Manuals and Design Support Manager.

Details about the job:

The main purpose for the role is to create, write, distribute and maintain customer manuals and instructions for our products within Train Connection Systems.
- Prepare exploded views from drawings and CAD-models.
- Maintain and update content of XML-database for technical documentation.
- Plan and manage project work in respect to customer manuals and instructions.

The successful candidate will have following profile:

Job experiences:
- Minimum of 3 years university degree within the area of the responsibility.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the area of the responsibility.
- Engineering background with experience from technical writing.
- Good English skills required, additional languages are of advantage.
- Knowledge in XML based software is an advantage.

Personal skills:
- Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with customers, colleagues, other departments and subsidiaries.
- Open attitude with an energy to drive improvements and high motivation for the job.
- Well organised and structured with a good technical understanding.
