Commercial Cars constantly strive to keep the press and event fleet in top condition to give all Polestar events the most professional, high end impression and quality. In order to strengthen our team we are looking for two (!) car technicians with high skills in working with and preparing cars but also interacting with people.



Let us describe the challenge we offer

As a car technician at Commercial Cars, you will have to take a big responsibility in planning the job to meet deadlines that often are very tight. You will work in close contact with many different departments at Polestar in order to meet up with requests on cars for different kind of events.

These positions is located in Gothenburg at SAB, Polestars workshop, but will also include travelling acting as technician supporting different events and activities such as photo and film production and press drives globally.



What you’ll do

In this position you will be a part of and setting up/preparing press car fleet of coming models; with everything from fit and finish, test drive, updating the software and working with cars from all different kind of project stages. This to ensure the cars are delivering the true Polestar feeling. It will be your responsibility to secure that all cars in the existing fleet are fully updated and always up to best condition in all matters.

Your primely responsibility will also include:

- Preparing photo and display cars with the little extra touch of perfectionism Polestar as a brand stands for.
- Act as technician on photo/film shoots, press drives.
- Support with miscellaneous technical needs where a creative solution mindset is crucial to meet deadlines.


Further on, as a secondary responsibility, you will coordinate and plan events from a broader perspective, where cars will be needed. Meaning everything from taking care of market requests, preparing, washing, planning transport and also acting as technical support at events of all different kind when needed.



Who you are

We are looking for you who’s service minded with passion working with electric vehicles, and people! Someone who’s innovative, driven and not afraid of taking own decisions in all activities you undertake. You are well-organized, motivated and not afraid to try new approaches and using out of the box methods. We believe you have excellent problem-solving abilities and have a thorough and outstanding sense and understanding for details equally as a holistic view.

To be a great fit for this role we believe you have:

- Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge about vehicles
- Experience in HV systems advantageous
- Networking abilities and excellent skills in interacting with other people
- Driving license for car is a necessity. Additional driving licenses and license for forklift is meritorious
- Good computer skills (Office programs)
