As a technician at ECAPS, you will handle and work with products that will be sent into space. ECAPS develops thrusters and propulsion systems for use on satellites with unique and environmentally friendly technology. The position is suitable for you who have a great passion for space, are interested in learning new things and are extremely thorough.

ECAPS is a leading manufacturer and unique in its kind of spacecraft thrusters that use environmentally benign propellant, which is a green and safer alternative to conventional toxic rocket propellants. The ECAPS team consists of 25 highly qualified researchers and engineers with a proven track record in the areas of design, manufacturing, testing and integration of propulsion systems. ECAPS is a workplace with many specialists who works together towards a common goal. They share knowledge and skills among them and are happy to celebrate each other’s success. Under normal circumstances they do various activities such as playing boule or arrange an after work.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
* Preparation and manufacture of various parts used in the manufacture of rocket engines, precision cleaning, visual inspections and testing of parts for other tasks.
* The work is performed in clean room environments but can also include work in a machine shop.
* Handle article inspection, handling of components and consumables during production and quality control.
VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* You should be able to perform precision assembly tasks and follow manufacturing, assembly, and integration procedures.
* Has a good ability to document the work performed.
* Has a good ability to learn new processes and integrate into the team.
* Fluent in Swedish and English (speaking and writing)
Meritorious:
* Experience in preparation of mechanical materials and precision assembly.
* Knowledge of metallic materials for high temperatures, ceramics and standards in mechanical processing.
* Experience in a cleanroom environment.
