About this opportunity
Power Solutions are six sections forming a power competence center with responsibility to provide knowledge to the Ericsson organization.
We work with research, development, and maintenance of the board power solutions to the majority of the Ericsson Product Portfolio, we are a part of the Ericsson’s global design organization and engaged in developing products for the present and future mobile networks, now with heavy focus on 5G and future 6G technology.
Are you the senior HW power developer to lead and develop our Technology Area Board Power, to create future conditions for crafting power solutions at the forefront of technology, for Ericsson's products?
What you will do
In you we see an experienced power designer, skilled in detail power design and with a solid understanding of board power systemization/architecture. As a leader you are structured, good in communications. Hence, you should have a driving personality and like networking and building contacts.
You will drive the work with technology roadmaps, strategies, and predevelopment for board power, together with other disciplines and suppliers, and optimize power technology on a product level.
Our team includes members globally, so cooperation with other design centers in Sweden, Canada and China comes with the daily work.
You will bring
Most of all you have an inquisitive mind and are willing to adapt to new methods and techniques and take initiative to challenge and improve daily work. You work well independently, but you are also an excellent teammate setting the team goals as priority one. You are experienced within the field and have:
MSc degree in Electrical Power Engineering
Several years of experience from analogue power hardware design and board power system design
Experience from leading teams
Analytic and inquisitive approach
Good collaboration & verbal skills
Proficient in English
