The Global Electrolux Talent Program presents:
The Global Electrolux Talent Program is a proactive initiative that brings together young talent from various functions and global offices within Electrolux. This programme is for those who are interested in a global, hands-on experience in an intercultural environment.
Technology Community Agent – Stockholm, Sweden
The Strategy & Transformation department of the Global Technology Organization (GTO) is looking for a communicative, outgoing and targeted generalist to join as a Technology Community Agent. You will be part of a team that will help define, adjust and develop key strategies and transformation initiatives for the Electrolux technology organization. This organization (GTO) consists of experts in technology, strategy, innovation and R&D, who are looking to build the future of Electrolux appliances.
There are three roles open within the Strategy & Transformation team. What's the difference, you might ask yourself? Here is a quick summary:
Technology Strategy Agent:
• Focus: Inwards (GTO) ;
• Responsibilities: Department + GTO Strategy Development & Communication; ad hoc strategic projects and initiatives
Technology Community Agent:
• Focus: Both, inwards (GTO) and outwards (Elux) ;
• Responsibilities: GTO Community building through forums, communication, events, etc. support for staff functions, improvement of GTO activities
Strategic Planning Agent:
• Focus: Both, inwards (GTO) and outwards (Elux) ;
• Responsibilities: Connect GTO and departmental strategies with the rest of Electrolux and its decision-making bodies
A normal day at work:
As a Technology Community Agent, you will:
• Support the development of a strong technology and R&D community in all our locations and functions, by supporting communication around various technology initiatives, strategic directions, transformation initiatives and other activities with great impact
o Support community building activities and initiatives with other teams across the organization
• Consider and pilot various communication and collaboration initiatives to improve intra- and inter-organism knowledge and communication
• Support GTO staff functions in various activities where needed
• Drive and coordinate various strategic technology forums, organization-wide meetings and other communication initiatives
o ex. Topic-specific forums, All hands meetings, summits, intranet community, various communication channels such as Yammer, for the entire Group Technology organization, and support individual line functions."
• Establish links and cooperation with key internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and drive change for GTO through communication, events, etc.m.
• Work in an inspiring environment with fun and ambitious colleagues at our head office in Stockholm
Who are you:
In addition to being an energetic and motivated individual, we believe you have:
• A university degree in economics, engineering, international relations/public affairs or communication
• A well-balanced set of leisure activities that can include leading teams, international experience, previous work experience or other engagements and achievements that demonstrate drive, ambition and passion
• A willingness to develop and grow within the organization as well as an interest in technology, communication and people
• Up to 2 years of work experience
In addition to that:
• You are a storyteller who naturally considers and integrates the audience, message and desired results into your communication (regardless of method)
• You communicate clearly and convincingly, collaborate confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the company
• You enjoy creating and delivering presentations
• A strategic thinker, you are curious and feel the need to understand and map the "big picture".
• You are very good and fast with powerpoint; create simple, clear and well-designed decks of cards that can communicate technical content in an understandable, relevant and (where applicable) inspiring way
• You see yourself as a person and a problem solver; you can read between the lines and understand people's motivation
• You are a doer, organized and can problem solve effectively - initiative is your middle name
• You can manage a high workload with speed and precision by prioritizing regularly
• You are a self-motivated, team-oriented and proactive learning
• You are skilled and well written in English
