Technology Development Manager, Landskrona

Job description
Your mission will be to lead, drive and develop Oatly´s technology development for liquid oat technology to ensure that Oatly continues to be the world leader in its field. This is a key role in the company where we need a fierce and dedicated leader, driven to set the roadmap for technology development for the foreseeable future and then deliver on it surrounded by a fantastic team. Taking our leading-edge liquid oat technology to the next level.

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will have the opportunity to be responsible for the technology development roadmap, which consists of a project pipeline with approximately 2-7 years horizon. Having your eyes and ears on the market, always up to speed with what the future is in this field, making sure Oatly is ahead of the game technology wise. Doing so you will have the privilege of leading a team of about 10 people, which consists of Technology Specialists, Development Engineers and Project Managers. You will be part of establishing this team. By leading this team and establishing cross-functional and cross-regional co-work with other key functions throughout the company, you ensure delivery on the technology development roadmap.

Working hours
Full time and the position is located in Landskrona.

WHO YOU ARE 

We´re looking for an entrepreneur at heart. Someone who will join Oatly and excel in laying out and delivering on the technology development roadmap for Oatly´s unique liquid oat technology. Doing so by having an analytical, holistic and structured approach. Making sure that the team is in place and provided with the right tools to deliver on the roadmap. To thrive in the role you are curious and innovative. To succeed we also think that you have excellent communication skills, with an ability to adapt your way of communicating to different speaking partners with the ambition to reach a common understanding. You scan the market and research field, making use of your social skills, networking to make sure Oatly keeps being world class and have the right collaborations in place. Your mind is quick, strategic and improvement driven. You understand the power of nourishing cross-functional collaboration. And of course, you are a great leader, passionate about food technology and innovation! 

We hope to see that you check the following boxes:
• MSc within relevant field
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in R&D/innovation work
• Experience in creating and delivering on an innovation roadmap
• Training and work experience within life science, food or biotechnology
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Experience in team management and project management and/or program management

Solid knowledge in food engineering, food chemistry and/or food technology will be useful in this role. We will be even happier if you also hold a PhD within relevant field and have experience within experimental design. If you have solid knowledge in food engineering, food chemistry and/or food technology this will be metorious. We also welcome international experience with open arms. 

It is necessary that you are fluent in English and a plus if you have knowledge in the Swedish language.
