Your responsibilities:
Overall ownership of R&D initiatives and execution
Embrace collaborating of the sub departments and other units
Guiding, motivating, coaching and developing the skills, knowledge and competencies of the teams and sub managers.
In cooperation with operations department, assign specialist resources to customer projects
Working with Lean product development
Handling HR-tasks relating to salary, PDA, recruitment etc.
Being responsible for department budget and R&D budget
Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business


Your background:
M.Sc. or PhD degree
Solid background within R&D
Some years’ experience as manager of team managers
Product development experience
SW R&D background is preferable but not a must
Experience from working in an international environment is a plus
Fluency in Swedish and English
