Right now, we’re looking for a visionary, inclusive and up-to-date leader for the exciting mission as Technology Manager at our production unit within Division Rock Tools. About the job
As Technology Manager for Rock Tools, you establish a forward-thinking, efficient and profitable organization, and you have a competent team of specialists within the fields of maintenance, machine technology and production IT to support you. You bring us towards a strong future by holistically ensuring optimized and modern ways of working in line with our safety-first objectives, looking at the benefits of digitalization and technical tools, as well as using the principles of Lean Manufacturing.


You’re accountable for daily operations, overall results, finances and performance management, and you make sure we have the right perquisites to work with a structured and proactive approach - focusing on equipment availability, work environment and sustainability. This means setting our strategies, forming roadmaps and driving activities based on given plans. Another important item on your agenda is building a culture where people share and act on innovations, new concepts and best practices, and where collaboration and united problem-solving is a reality.


You’re a valued member of the management team for our Rock Tools production site in Sandviken, and this is also where you need to be located for this position.


About you
We’re looking for an inspiring, clear and open-minded leader with an engineering factory background – someone who drives improvements, invests in people and aims for a truly diverse and dynamic setting. You have the skills and attitude to convert a vision into a successful activity plan, and you empower your team to join in on the transformation journey. By mixing a broad horizon and an eye for details, you form organized ways of working with a spotlight on flexibility, creativity and exciting work environments.


You have experience from the manufacturing industry, and your career includes leading larger organizations including multiple teams of experts. Equally important is your strong development skills and the ability to positively initiate and implement change using agile methods like Lean Manufacturing. You also strongly believe in the power of a healthy, environmentally friendly and sustainable business. A relevant degree – most likely within Engineering - is beneficial, and you communicate fluently in English, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
