AFRY's Center for Future Mining and Metals Industry in Sweden has a breadth of expertise with unique excellence in the field. AFRY Process Industry Division is now looking for a Technology Manager/Specialist to reinforce our team serving a variety of different industries.
About the job
The role of the Technology Manager is to act as a project manager or technology expert in planning or execution phases of Clients’ investment projects. You would actively contribute to project sales, development of new solutions and ways of working. You have a background in hydro- or pyrometallurgy or mineral processing either in industry or engineering.
Depending on your experience and skills profile, your tasks include sales, proposal development, project management, process engineering tasks as well as development in ways of working and client offering. You are fully supported by multi-skilled colleagues and our international project base provide an opportunity for further professional growth. Possible locations are Luleå, Stockholm, Gävle or Borlänge.


Qualifications
The person we are looking for has:
Minimum 7 years hands-on experience of technology development, conceptual & basic engineering, project execution and/or plant operation
In the position of a Technology Manager/Specialist, ability to act as in leading expert role in projects
In the position of a Technology Manager/Specialist, deep knowledge of the field and ability to provide practical client solutions
M.Sc. education or higher in relevant field
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to develop new solutions and approaches in a client-oriented manner
