Role and responsibilities
As a Technology Manager at Micvac, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving our cutting-edge initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing new equipment projects, ensuring they align with customer needs, all the way from equipment orders, delivery, tests, installation, and start-up at customer sites. You will also manage internal and customer specific development projects.

Our commitment to excellence doesn't end with technology; it extends to providing technical support to our customers. You'll work closely with our customers, collaborating to address their unique needs and challenges. You´ll work with preparing and delivering calculations for customer quotes.

In addition, collaboration within cross functional teams, such as customer acquisition (CA), customer support (CS) and our strategic suppliers and partners you'll be responsible for managing technology partners and key suppliers, ensuring smooth and effective partnerships that drive our technological progress.

Continuous improvement is a core part of our DNA, and you'll play an integral role in refining our technology and raw materials. By maintaining up-to-date knowledge/know-how of industry trend, technologies, and competitive landscape you will help Micvac stay at the forefront of industry trends and advancements.

This role involves occasional travel to our customers and partners worldwide.

Who are you?
To be successful in this position, we believe that you have a technical education, preferably bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering. Several years of project management skills are a requirement as you will be engaged in product and tech development.

As Technology Manager you are a generalist and have broad knowledge in different technology areas. You have experience in the mass manufacturing environment, with the capability to navigate its unique challenges. You also have proficiency in diverse technology sectors, capable of adapting and contributing to different technical areas. Further we believe that you have proven track record of collaborating with external technology suppliers, ensuring a seamless and fruitful partnership.

Previous experience in the Food Processing industry with an understanding of food safety management systems is meritorious.
