The Prepress & Printing team within the Tetra Pak has the responsibility to develop, maintain and improve the global specifications and equipment within Prepress and Printing for both Flexo and Digital Printing being the global owner of Tetra Pak’s equipment and processes. Our purpose is: “To transform the end-to-end graphics process to be the QUALITY leader and first choice of CUSTOMERS”
We are looking for a new Technology Specialist who wants to maintain and further develop prepress and printing process and capability for our converting equipment and factories.
The position is permanent and based in Lund, Sweden. Some travel is expected, maximum up to 25% of your time.
What you will do
The position includes knowledge building and sharing. You will support various teams with technology knowhow, requirements, verification, and validation planning. You will be an important collaboration partner in both internal and external networks.
You will focus on
Do scouting (incl. competitors), screening and initiate studies of new technologies
Build Technology roadmap and identify related Technology Know-how activities and competence development requirements
Promote and suggest activities to close technology and competence close gaps, visualise opportunities and challenges in technology applications
Represent Tetra Pak on relevant competence subject matters towards customers, suppliers, conferences, authorities, universities while building internal/external networks
Use global competence know-how for problem solving and contribute to setting corporate standards relevant to the competence area
Technology concept screening: review requirements & Intellectual Property, support risk assessment, advise test/evaluation methods and make recommendations on technology concepts
Who you are
You are, at heart, curious, passionate about learning and knowledge sharing within todays and tomorrow’s pre-press and printing technologies. We believe, you have a structured and analytical way of working with strong personal drive and clear focus on results with quality. Furthermore, you can take individual lead as well as collaborating globally.
We believe you have relevant engineering degree and graphical science education combined with very good Printing Process understanding and colour management skills. You have experience working with building competence in a structured way. Furthermore, you have been tutoring and building training material and you have knowledge in World Class Manufacturing, or similar quality system and Agile methods. A very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must.
