The Global Electrolux Talent Program is a proactive initiative that brings together young talent from various functions and global offices within Electrolux. This programme is for those who are interested in a global, hands-on experience in an intercultural environment.
Technology Strategy Agent – Stockholm, Sweden
The Strategy & Transformation Department of the Global Technology Organization (GTO) is looking for a strategic, outgoing, responsive and targeted generalist to become a Technology Strategy Agent. You will be part of a team that will help define, adjust and develop key strategies and transformation initiatives for the Electrolux technology organization. This organization (GTO) consists of experts in technology, strategy, innovation and R&D, who are looking to build the future of Electrolux appliances. As a Technology Strategy Agent, you will partner with senior department heads and team leaders to drive change with senior department heads and team leaders to drive change.
Technology Strategy Agent:
• Focus: Inwards (GTO) ;
• Responsibilities: Department + GTO Strategy Development & Communication; ad hoc strategic projects and initiatives
Technology Community Agent:
• Focus: Both, inwards (GTO) and outwards (Elux) ;
• Responsibilities: GTO Community building through forums, communication, events, etc. support for staff functions, improvement of GTO activities
Strategic Planning Agent:
• Focus: Both, inwards (GTO) and outwards (Elux) ;
• Responsibilities: Connect GTO and departmental strategies with the rest of Electrolux and its decision-making bodies
A normal day at work:
As a technology strategy agent, you will
• Work across countries and functions, coordinate the definition and refinement of strategic initiatives in different GTO departments. Examples include:
o Support the definition of functional strategy (e.g. supporting the definition of strategic priorities, areas of technology, initiatives, roadmaps and competences, etc.);
o ADHOC requests from senior executives (e.g. technology trends inputs, deep-dive analyses on various strategic topics, such as emerging technologies;
o coordination and communication of technology partnerships
• Support strategic communication of various GTO initiatives and successes; create presentations to management about initiatives, manage internal communication, etc.
• Support strategy communication in various electrolux forums, such as the Connected Experiences Forum
• Support strategy and transformation projects as part of the overall GTO strategy agenda
• Coordinate our market research and competitive intelligence sources and partnerships
• Establish links and collaboration with key internal stakeholders and identify potential external partners
• Work in an inspiring environment with fun and ambitious colleagues at our head office in Stockholm
Who are you:
In addition to being an energetic and motivated individual, we believe you have:
• A university degree in business administration or engineering
• A well-balanced set of leisure activities that can include leading teams, international experience, previous work experience or other engagements and achievements that demonstrate drive, ambition and passion
• A willingness to develop and grow within the organization as well as an interest in technology, communication and people
• Up to 2 years of work experience
In addition to that:
• A strategic thinker, you are curious and feel the need to understand and map the "big picture". You can get to the heart of a question and decide what's really important
• You are very good and fast with PowerPoint; create simple, clear and well-designed decks that can communicate technical content in an understandable, relevant and (where applicable) inspiring way
• You communicate clearly, confidently and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the company
• You are a doer, organized and can problem solve effectively - initiative is your middle name
• You can manage a high workload with speed and precision by prioritizing regularly
• You ensure that your ongoing work is visible and seek constant feedback
• You are a self-motivated, team-oriented and proactive learning
• You master English
