Assignment description :
On behalf of our client we are looking for a technician to accelerate auto-patching database intensive services.


Job Description:
In close collaboration with the already existing dba:s, participate hands-on in the mission to have an increased OS patch cadence for our on-prem database servers, without jeopardizing the hard requirement of very high uptime. Automation will be key.
Document and explain what should be fullyautomated, semi-automated or only manually patched. Part of the assignment is to secure the verification of the services after patching, book-keep every step in Jira, create/automate data presentation for the team and higher management for the specific area.
Setting up new servers/services,migrate or decommission old servers/services and other tasks in the database domain could also be part of the assignment.
