Telecommunications Project Manager - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Telecommunications Project Manager participating in construction projects in the backbone network where data and telecommunications need to be established, your role is as a sub-project manager where you are responsible for everything related to telecommunications, i.e., optical fibre, active equipment, planning of outages and more.
What you'll do:
● Participate in all stages of the project, from pre-study and implementation all the way to inspections of finished facilities.
● Planning what will be carried out regarding telecommunications in the projects, producing technical documents, being the client of certain contracting services, and ensuring the quality of execution, etc.
● Coordinate with internal technology resources as well as external contractors and work on several projects in parallel.
● Improve working methods, processes and instructions regarding the implementation of the projects.
● Managing and supervising teams of engineers, technicians, and other personnel involved in installation projects.
● Ensuring that all teams have the necessary tools and materials to complete their work tasks efficiently.
● Monitoring project costs to ensure that expenses are controlled within budget limits.
Who you are:
● Possess higher education 120p/180 credits in computer science/telecommunications or in another subject area deemed relevant or equivalent work experience.
● Candidate should possess at least 5 years of work experience of having worked in a project manager role and with telecommunications in the form of SDH/PDH/WDM systems or equivalent and/or optofiber.
● Prior experience of at least 3 years working on projects in contract form along with good written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English.
● It will be meritorious to hold experience of work in the energy industry, infrastructure as a technician, project manager, network planner, delivery manager or in another role deemed equivalent.
