Position Overview

The Global Hygiene Category leads SCA?s hygiene brand portfolio and delivers brand development and innovation for our three business areas, Incontinence Care, Consumer Goods and Professional Hygiene.

This open Global Brand Innovation Manager role is organised within Feminine Care.

You will develop & deliver innovative new solutions to better meet the needs of a defined target audience. You will work in a marketing/ technical partnership to take prioritised concepts through all stages of the innovation funnel from concept to launch (which will be executed by the regional teams). On top of this close cooperation the Global Brand Innovation Manager will also cooperate closely with the Global Brand/Arena Director, lead markets, Consumer insight team (CSRU), R&D and others to create strong 8 quarter launch plan to drive company sales growth and reach overall SCA targets.

The position is located in Gothenburg and reports to the Global Brand Director Feminine Care.


Main Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of an assortment vision and ambition
Build consumer & customer insights & propose market research
Use global segmentation & positioning to identify gaps vs competition
Discover, develop and evaluate new territories / new concepts that enables a balanced flow of activities entering the Q8 launch plan
Support the Global Brand Director in recommending product & solution innovations that build on key brand features & design and validate with key marketing communities
Support BU growth and monitor cost saving initiatives vs innovation
Propose innovation project organization & resources
Develop assortment, claims, pack design and price positioning
Develop communication theme, creative execution and media mix together with lead markets


Experience and Background requirements

5+ years? experience in brand development and commercial marketing
Proven skills in innovation development & delivery
Significant experience of the category and South America markets
Ideally worked in both operating businesses as well as marketing headquarters
Experience in running multi-function teams effectively
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative international environment
Qualifications & Leadership capabilities
Self-motivated, objective driven with ability to work autonomously
Can sell ideas well and find the right stakeholders
Makes the vision happen

Has courage and shows perseverance
