TRATON Financial Services is a global multi-brand captive finance provider. Services include financing for customers, dealers, and distributors as well as insurance solutions and additional services. By this TRATON Financial Services (TFS) supports transforming transportation.

In order to be a competitive player in the market, TFS needs to address digital development towards premium multi-brand financial services, including:


• Using a strong customer-centric design and development approach by customer and stakeholder journey design.
• Establish a common core business solution that is a modern, scalable and secure cloud solution to be used in most of TFS markets.
• Engage and develop capabilities and skills to serve an industrialised and cost-efficient roll-out. This means an agile and lean start-up and service management.
• Manage a multi-brand set-up.

TGFI has been assigned to develop and execute the above where the assignment as Digital Officer plays a vital part.

We are looking for a temporary Global Digital Officer (DO) for TFS during the time our DO is on parental leave. Please note that after this period there is an opportunity to be full-time employed in a different role.

The DO’s main responsibility is to guide, support and stimulate the digital development towards premium multi-brand financial services. Leading the shift towards a digital mindset, ensure that development is aligned on a common or Brand Specific goals and secure the use of digital products and services.

More, over the DO shall lead the functions Enterprise Architecture, Insight and Analytics and Service Design to guide and support TFS with Target Architecture, foundation to become an insight-driven organisation and to increase customer-centricity.

The DO shall orchestrate, coordinate and support selected business units within TFS, in their digital work of development and transformation of the financial services towards future demands and customer needs. 

Responsibilities     

Manager for Enterprise Architecture Function - own and maintain a target architecture including governance, forums, and support.

Manager for Insight and Analytics Function - enable TFS to become a data driven organization

Manager for Service Design Function - ensure customer centricity through customer and user journeys 

Senior advising to leadership

Innovation and development of Digital services - enable and encourage an innovative approach, identify and share ideas for developing new ways of working

Digital Strategy & Portfolio - continuously assess the digital portfolio, identifying new service needs

Support Digital topics towards local business units - coordinate digitalization efforts to leverage resources and maximize output

Desirable experience & qualifications


• Relevant Academic Degree
• Strong experience of management consulting, digital strategy consultancy or an equivalent internal function in a large company
• Managerial and Leadership experience
• Fluent in English + Local Language
• Experience of leading programs and large projects within business and IT, reporting on an executive level in an international business context
• Experience in Strategy creation and implementation
• Good understanding of technical trends in the market and how they can be utilised by the business area
