Temporary utility coordinator – Facility management
We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe and construction is set to begin in 2023. To make that happen we need the best to join our in-house Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) team. About the role
In the position as Temporary Utility Coordinator you will come in early to set the local infrastructure and utilities around site services. You will pro-actively support and assist the Site Logistics Manager along the way and contribute on successful delivery of the assigned tasks.
In this position you will have a key role in our Facility management organization in building the new Gigafactory. You will report to the Site Logistics Manager, and you will have full ownership over temporary utilities and temporary civil works. You will interface with external parts such as GEAB, KoV, Volvo Cars, etc. Majority of your time will be spent on field, but you will have an important role in design development and planning of temporary civil works.
We are looking for you that have an eye for detail and a desire to exceed expectations. You should have a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as being able to handle high pressure and tight deadlines with ease. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, while also being comfortable working independently. Experience in a high-profile, international setting is a plus. What you will do in your role:
- Lead, plan and coordinate the utilities and civil works used for the green- and brownfield projects
- Supervise contractors that will execute and maintain the temporary civil works
- Give input and review the design of the utilities to ensure function during construction and operations
- Prepare specifications, plans, estimates and reports related to the scope
- Working on site to identify risks and work proactively to risk mitigate, both from an operational and safety perspective
Essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in large-scale construction projects with considerable multidisciplinary complexity
- Solid technical experience in supervising
- Good communication skills
- English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
- Experience from Swedish construction sites is a plus
- Passion and enthusiasm for construction

- Self-performing attitude with the strong skill to contribute on team effort
