Knorr-Bremse Rail Services in the Nordics is now recruiting a proactive and collaborative Tender & Technical Sales Manager. The position is based in Aarhus or in Copenhagen. About the position
You are offered a challenging and developing position in an international environment. You will work with professional and dedicated teams in the Nordics and in Europe. You will have many contacts, both internally within the Knorr-Bremse Group and externally to Customers and Partners.

As Tender & Technical Sales Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the Tender Team’s development of quotations under the overall lead of the Key Account Manager. This includes cost calculations, technical information and commercial terms. Further, you will prepare documentation for internal risk reviews and tender endorsement, and you will be point of contact to our legal team in tenders. It will also be your responsibility to compile tender documentation prior to submission to the Customer.

You will present and pitch tenders in meetings and participate in negotiations with Customers. As responsible for the Tender Team you will also be responsible for the development of tools and tender calculation models.

Some travel will be required in the Nordics and in Europe.

You will report to the Head of Sales & Business Development Nordics.

Your profile
You probably have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with specialization in Electricity or Mechanics. In addition to your degree, you have solid experience from sales of international projects.

You are fluent in English, written and spoken, preferably also in Danish or Swedish and maybe German.

To be successful in the position you are good at building and maintaining contacts and credibility with customers as well as with suppliers and co-workers. You have excellent stakeholder och project management skills.

You are also proactive, analytical, professional and well-structured with high integrity and a good judgement. Moreover, you have a holistic view and understand both Knorr-Bremse’s overall interests as well as customer needs in the delivery. You can build rewarding collaborations internally and externally in the sales projects. Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, are also required.

Previous experience from the rail, transportation, vehicle or energy industry is a merit but not a prerequisite.
