• Day-to-day administration of the Teradata environment.
• Create users, establish roles, create database structures
• Quality control and auditing of databases access rights
• Workload Management Implementation
• Performing System Level Utilities
• Space Movement between databases.
• Setting up the alerts mechanism for various metrics
• Setting up new development objects and migrating the code to Prod environment


Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly Backup with the agreement from application team
• Restore the data between two systems when requested.
• Restore the data in lower environment for development/testing purpose
• Release of Host Utility Lock in case of backup/restore failure


Data Replication
• Data Synchronization using BAR
• Data Synchronization using Golden Gate
• Development of BAR Jobs for synchronization - JIRA
• Development of Golden Gate Replication - JIRA
• Data Synchronization between RADAR Systems using Data Mover
• Development of data mover jobs for RADAR Systems


DB Maintenance
• Perform the Quarterly/Yearly maintenance for all the Teradata Systems


Reporting
• Extracting and reporting weekly/monthly Performance KPI's
• Extracting and reporting security audit reports


Co-ordination with Vendor
• Support and coordination during hardware/software upgrades Design,


Development & Testing of the Application
• Work with team to Design the database and Implementation
• SQL Code Review and suggest the change if any.
• Selection of appropriate Index for faster execution


Performance, Data collection and Reporting
• SLA report for data synchronization between environments.
• Business Report usage and overall health of System - Daily
• Weekly Metrics for the Health of all the Teradata System.
• Teradata Monthly Health Report of the all Teradata System
• Perform the Quarterly maintenance for all the Teradata Systems
