Our Exciting Opportunity
The Algorithm Department in CRM radio organization is now seeking for a Test and verification engineer. You will be part of the Algorithm performance evaluation team.
As Test and verification engineer within PDU radio, you will work with latest Radio Network products. You will be member of a very experienced team (TrxCtrl). You will work mainly with test and verification of Radio HW and SW by configuring the Algorithm based on the Radio Product requirement. You create trouble reports and support the team with test and troubleshooting. You together with the team plan and organize new SW release testing, take care of related documentation. You maintain and update both HW and SW environment for test and verification.

Be an active member of our team
Maintain HW and SW updates in the Lab
Follow the Radio HW and SW release plans
Plan the test and align it with team leader for each new SW release, follow up the plan
Report progress and schedule deviations, HW/SW faults or any other issues
Plan own work and development, coordinate plans with the team and management
Write new documentation and maintain available documentation, structures, procedures and work instructions
Participate Test environment and SW release related meetings
Develop competence in Radio HW, Test SW and related tools, Test Automation, Radio HW and SW Troubleshooting, instruments, result and log analyses tools
Contribute to overall Ericsson knowledge in the test and verification area.
To be successful in the role you must have
MSc/BSc or equivalent degree in Electronics or Computer Science
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Troubleshooting skills in related areas e.g. radio, RF, RBS
General RF PA linearization and radio networks knowledge
Programming skills in Vee, C#, MATLAB and Python and is an advantage
Git Source Code Management
Good planning and organizing
Experience from the areas; signal processing, telecommunication and radio technology.
Knowledge in the area of radio system requirements for the standards GSM, WCDMA, LTE etc.
Radio HW design.
Experience in crafting radio signal processing blocks, e.g. digital filters, crest-factor reduction or linearization.
Good teamwork, interpersonal, social and presentation skills.
