Test and Verification leader for Zone Controller
Volvo Cars are in a very exciting spot in the middle of transformation of traditional cars to the fully electrical architect. This will be a very challenging journey and we hope you would like to be part of it! We’re developing new technologies to lead in safety, autonomous driving and electrification. What’s in it for you
At the department Core System Components (ARTCSC), within Software & Electronics Platforms, we develop the Zone Controlers for the new platform. It’s the biggest challenge in the new platform and we will launch the platform that will the base software for the new multi functions units. The unit will include body controllers, I/O controllers, electrical power distribution units, gateways and electrical power supply. We work with solutions from early concept to industrialization and follow-up in the field.
We are now looking for a talent person with senior Test and project leader experience to join our Test and Verification team.
The teams will configure and develop the software stack (BSW) in close cooperation with suppliers and external teams. The teams will involve in the whole chain implementation, verifying and delivering the complete ECU for manufacturing.

What you will do
As Test responsible for the Zone Controller you will be part of creating next generation of Zone Controller/ Body Controllers. You will plan the test activities and the need of equipment for the testing activities. You will be a part of defining the Software architecture and implementation strategy from configurating the BSW to deliver applications to the car on the street.
You will also support the teams in defining, exploring, and implementing enablers, provide oversight and guidance, and foster a quality-first culture using modern tools and technologies.
You will use your Test and Verification configuration expertise to lead the team that shall plan and performe the testing of software stack configuration and make sure it is well integrated with the other parts of the ECUs. You will also contribute to building an automated workflow with continuous integration and testing of new software.
You will work in close collaboration with several expert competences – both within and outside Volvo Cars. Together with ARTCSC’s own broad area of expertise, this will benefit your long-term development and expand your knowledge within many different fields.

Test leader within Core System Components needs wide and deep understanding of relevant technologies within development and test of HW, SW, CI, and system safety. To be successful in this role you need to be open minded towards new tools and solutions. You need to be skilled in Autosar, the primarily operating system.
You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
Experience from below is considered meritorious:
•    Skilled in AUTOSAR
•    Embedded software development
•    Configuration management software
•    Software release 
•    Python
•    CAN and Automotive Ethernet communications
•    HIL systems and real-time simulation
•    Continuous Integration, Verification and Development 
•    Platform development 
•    Proven ability to build and maintain long term roadmaps and technical evolution plans
