Job Description
Regardless of area, tools or languages, a Test Automation Architect (Test Automation Lead Engineer) who can design, standardize, and review solutions that fit our technical landscape and could be adopted easily by product teams developing solutions for our customers. In the role you are also expected to apply modern engineering practices such as Cloud infrastructure, Identity management, Version control to develop scalable and community solutions. You should be keen on AI/ML/RPA to take our test automation experience to a new level. Develop a KPI driven environment to visualize and react to test automation requirements

Qualifications
As a Test Automation Architect, you have an entrepreneurial mindset, are excited about creating something new and challenge the status quo. You are observant, analytical and focused on the value the teams create and the enablement needs they have. You can speak and inspire on Test Automation anytime. Other important skills needed in this role are to keep it simple, creative, stay humble, open to new ideas and actively contribute to discussions
You will focus on the following responsibilities in our fast-moving environment:
Design & review test automation architecture for different tech stacks
Guide the Test Enablement team in development of test automation frameworks to support product teams
Advisor to stakeholders on test automation strategy for complex tech landscapes, setting direction for long term automation plan, bringing in best practices and enablement
Lead test automation forum and engage the test automation community
Review new technologies available in market to constantly improve test automation toolset in Business Tech
Design & develop solutions to build and visualize test automation KPIs
Engage with platform teams, our tech moves, enterprise architects and lead engineers to adapt & integrate test automation technology in best way to support one click DevSecOps practices and culture
Support in developing data-driven insights on test automation on Business Tech enterprise and product team levels
Support in new initiatives in Test Enablement to resolve test data & environments challenges

You have
Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics or Business-related field with 10+ years in IT
Hands-on experience with scripting in Python, JavaScript, C#
Experience working with different Unit, API & UI test automation frameworks, preferably open source
Experience in development of test automation in an Agile way of working, working closely with full-stack developers
Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in developing and enhancing automation testing frameworks and guiding users to adopt and implement effective use of them
Strong conceptual knowledge on TDD & BDD
Exposure to Robot Framework (Py), Selenium, JavaScript frameworks, TestNG, XUnit, Appium, Browser stack, Postman, TOSCA
Experience working with Azure Infra & Azure DevOps/GitHub Enterprise for developing Test Automation solutions
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Test Automation Lead Engineer or similar
Experience in leading communities of practice and developing best practices in test automation development
Excellent written & communication skills
Bonus to have a background in e-commerce & supply chain management
