The Digital Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides Intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption and run building operations efficiently. As a critical part of this building ecosystem we also provide solutions for fire detection and monitoring of fire detection systems installations.
The Fire Detection Panel team is part R&D and is developing Fire Detection Panels, including HW and SW applications. The detection panels are interacting with distributed sensor systems in buildings and with a Fire expert cloud application.
Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Test Automation Engineer for our Fire Detection software solution in Lund, Sweden.
Wish list of skills and experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Experience with designing and building test automation
• Experience with QA methodologies in an Agile development lifecycle
• Experience with MS Visual Studio tools
• Experience with HP ALM, Microfocus tools
• Experience with embedded/linux systems
• Experience with IP and serial communication
