The Digital Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption and run building operations efficiently. As a critical part of this building ecosystem we also provide solutions for fire detection and monitoring of fire detection systems.
The Fire team is part of Digital Buildings R&D and is developing Fire Detection Panels, including both HW and SW. The detection panels are interacting with distributed sensor systems in buildings and with a Fire Expert cloud application.
Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Test Automation Engineer for our Fire Detection SW solution in Lund, Sweden.
Wish list of skills and experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Test coverage analysis
• Design and continuously develop and maintain test automation systems
• Automate appropriate tests cases and build/maintain automation framework
• Experience working with QA methodologies in an agile development lifecycle
• Experience using MS Visual Studio tools
• Experience using HP/Microfocus ALM
• Experience working with embedded systems
• Experience working with IP and serial communication
• Values team success, team player
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
