Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to our client in Gothenburg.


NOTE! Swedish work permit is required.


As a Test Automation Engineer you will work with the latest technologies, like AWS and Microservices to develop cutting edge solutions and services to our customers. You will help the team to stay ahead in delivering services of high quality – now and in the future. Together with your team you will own the entire lifecycle of a service – from requirements, development, test, deploy, maintenance to continuous improvements and new innovations. You will contribute with defining relevant tests, developing automated tests and practice continuous testing with the team.

Who are we?
Team consists of nine team members. We are a mix of software developers, one application specialist, a scrum master and a product owner.
Our services focus on enabling communication between the vehicles and several other business services within the platform. We value our DevOps way of working, where we take full ownership and responsibility of our services when they are in production. We also value our SAFe-inspired framework, which focuses on collaboration with other teams at the client and clear objectives for each Product Increment, ensuring value deliveries to our customers.
Need to have:
5 years of experience in software testing industry
Hands-on expertise in test automation
Hands-on expertise with TDD & BDD
Experience in API testing (manual or automation)
Experience in Cucumber (or similar framework)
Experience in monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog/Kibana)
Expert in test design and managing test data
Good knowledge in Java
Experience in the DevOps way of working (CI/CD etc)
Excellent team working and communication skills
Passionate about testing and quality and eager to learn new things

Nice to have:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Interest in coaching team members on different aspects of testing
MQTT messaging protocol
