We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to SKF in Luleå.
The assignment
Being part in development of SKF next generation IMx condition monitoring system based on latest NXP multicore ARM processors and Yocto Linux.
SKF are currently finalizing concept phase and product release is planned for end of 2022. The project includes everything from idea, including FW and HW development until product is ready for serial production.
SKF need a test automation engineer to help with design of automated tests on a sub-system level, as well as some limited system level tests.
Design should include automated test runs from pipeline builds, right through to test report generation, verifying existing and new functionality.
Tasks
Creating test automation for scalable embedded systems in a distributed architecture.
Design, implement and maintain automated tests with hardware in the loop.
Automation of measurement equipment used to perform tests.
Working with applying methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
Working with Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI/CD.
Working with Azure DevOps Test Plans.
Working with National Instruments tools (HW and SW).
Preparation and execution of automated and manual tests.

Requirements
Previous work experience with test automation.
Experience from setting up CI/CD pipelines.
Experience from embedded systems development.
Programming language is Python so knowledge in that i necessary
Familiarity with some test automation software like Ranorex, Test Stand, and LabVIEW.

Period: 2021-05-01 until 2021-12-31 with good chance of extension
Fulltime: 40 hours/week.
Language: Swedish/English
Place: On-site at SKF Luleå at least 50% of the time as a guideline.
