The Position
As a Test Automation Engineer you will be a part of the department “Robotic Milking”. Robotic Milking is responsible for developing DeLaval’s milking systems comprising of fully automatic robotic milking systems. The department includes different SW development teams where you take ownership for all testing performed by your specific team, both automatic and manual testing. The responsibility also includes to contribute to the development of more efficient test methods and simulating tools within SW development. Your work is performed in close cooperation with developers and other testers within Robotic Milking but also cross-functional within DeLaval in general.

Some of your Key Responsibilities for the position will be to: Make the test environment more effective with simulators and automatic test      
Be part of strategies of SW test methods and overall test planning
Work close together with SW developers/Test Engineers to coordinate needs and ideas
Analyze, review and assess user requirements, specifications and models for testability
Collect, visualize and distribute test result and test progress
Implement tests on all test levels, execute and log the tests, evaluate the results and document the deviations from expected results
You will be part of a skilled team with high engagement where the work is performed in an agile framework.

Is this you?

We are looking for a person with: At least three years working experience of software testing
Good knowledge of creating automatic test cases
Knowledge and experience in Java, C++ or C
Knowledge and experience from Linux
Language skills, native in English or/and Swedish in both written and spoken
