About the role
As a Test Automation Manager, you will be an important pillar in a cross-functional agile team, working in close collaboration with developers, product managers, UX and designers as well as other company stakeholders. You will coach teams in QA and test automation best practices to ensure that our product remains highest of quality while also leading us to the next level in our journey to automate the right parts of our test activities.
Your main tasks will include:
Coaching product teams in test automation
Supporting product teams with test planning
Define goals for test automation together with teams and communicate progress
Explore and identify suitable tools and frameworks to best support our automation strategy

Requirements
The scope of the position is wide and will include both strategic work and coaching as well as hands-on implementation of automated tests and test frameworks. While the role allows for a high degree of autonomy and creativity, this needs to be combined with strategic capabilities and focus in order to realize your ideas and reach the goals we set together.
As you will be responsible for driving our test automation processes, you need to be senior enough to be able to drive this work independently and to make people buy in to your ideas. The role will require working closely with other teams, roles and functions so we need you to be a collaborative team player with great communication skills.
We believe that you have wide QA experience from an agile environment, including creating well-structured test plans and strategies, leading, prioritizing and executing test activities on all levels throughout the software development life cycle.
Some key points:
You have a great understanding of different test methodologies and approaches and when and how to apply them
You have extensive hands-on experience in test automation and test automation strategies for mobile and web
You have excellent collaboration skills and can communicate in both technical and non-technical terms
You have a strong understanding of CI/CD and release testing life cycles
You are a curious and self-propelled team player that can inspire colleagues to work towards common goals
You won’t shy away from practicing what you preach and get hands-on with writing tests
