About the role
For this position you will be a part of the IT Horse Digital team working with our biggest product, the horse product and everything happening around the races before, during and after. We are a fast paces team driving our own learning process through active competence networks and forums for continuous improvement, both in terms of technology choices and working methods. We like to have fun at work and learn from each other while we have the customer in focus. We challenge ourselves daily through innovation sprints and labs, pair programming and knowledge sharing. Besides the IT Horse Digital team, you will also be a part of a virtual test team and the role involves a lot of interaction and support within the organization and you will be working together with highly skilled professionals.
As a Test Automation Specialist, you will be working with automated test cases and quality assurance. You will be responsible for the testing in the team and to develop the test process and automation. In this role you will be given the opportunity to drive and influence the work toward common goals and to develop the test automation process. You will have a great impact on how we work with Test Automation at ATG and will be given a lot of responsibility within the area.
Your responsibilities will be to
• Create and support in automation of tests both frontend and backend
• Analysis of business requirements
• Performing and coordination of Non-functional tests
• Help teams to build automated test suites in line with ATG’s testing strategy and following test automation guidelines
• Provide test automation support to development teams when requested
• Evaluate and drive adoption of new tools
• Promote best practices for tests implementation
• Mentoring
• Ability to work in a high pace agile environment - today we work both according to scrum
About you
To succeed in the role, we believe that you have a few years of experience within the area. You have a good understanding of test automation and software development, both backend in Java and some frontend. You are used to understand and adapt to both business requirements and the developer’s way of working. You’re a good communicator and are fluent in English.
You have experience and knowledge within
• Selenium
• Cucumber
• CI/CD
• Microservices and Rest API
• An understanding for Java backend development and some frontend development

In addition, you are curious and have a passion to learn about and experiment with relevant tech platforms and software stacks.
