We are looking for a Test Coordinator to join the Battery Lab at our Propulsion & Climate Labs within R&D at Volvo Cars. 

Who are we? 
Propulsion & Climate Labs is Volvo Cars’ Centre for testing of propulsion systems, in complete vehicle as well as in component form. We operate and develop propulsion test facilities for vehicles, drivelines, electric motors, batteries, and transmissions, as well as aerodynamic and climatic testing. Our work includes hardware- and software preparation of testing, test execution and processing of measurement data. 

To meet the future, we need to utilize state of the art methods to test and verify next generation cars in an efficient and correct manner. The Battery Lab is expanding to a lab that can support the industrialization of the future electrified cars from Volvo Cars. We are working closely together to develop the testing of battery cells to complete batteries. We are in a technology shift where the design is changing in a rapid pace and we as a team needs to be agile and at the same time deliver repeatable and precise data.

What you’ll do 
As Test Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of all test objects at the Battery Lab. You will make sure the plan is optimized with the available rig and resources for the agreed amount of test needed, both long-term and short-term.

You will represent the Battery Lab to ensure an efficient utilization of rig and resources. You will be responsible for manning of the Test Requests and hold weekly planning meetings with the teams executing the tests to set the short- and long-term planning. This includes balancing the lab capability and capacity as well as being responsible for the interface towards stakeholders and other involved areas. 

Together with the teams in the Battery Lab, you will ensure excellent collaboration with stakeholders for efficient testing and highest quality standards. You will support our own team and customers in a way that makes battery testing effective and successful. You and your skills
We believe you have a technical education or equivalent experience. Good communication skills are key in this role; therefore, you must be fluent in English both written and spoken. We also see that you have previous experience from Lean/Agile way of working. Previous planning experience with a high focus of quality and deliveries is meritorious, as well as experience from working in product development and/or in a lab. 

On a personal level, you have a genuine interest in cars and technology. You are well-organized, structured, and meticulous with an eye for details. You are skilled in networking, and you promote collaboration. You are engaging and delivery driven with a strong initiative and the ability to make things happen. You prefer clear and direct communication with both team members and colleagues, and you are responsive to customer needs.
