Test developer at Labatus

Job summary:

We are looking for a talented Test developer to join our test team in Mjärdevi. You should be interested in test but also is comfortable with some development. Experience from working with IPTV and DVB is considered as a merit.

At Labatus we do certifications on behalf of customers as well as test directly on behalf of our customers. As a Tester/Test Developer at Labatus you take part of all testing aspects – through planning, process improvements, tools development, and coordination of test as well as conducting the manual and automated testing yourself.

Your accountabilities will be:

- Develop test cases for our test tools,(Witbe and Ranorex)
- Write and execute test cases manually and automated.
- Define detailed test cases with their coverage for functional/non-functional requirements/features from Specifications
- Support developers in written test cases, and follow up on the test case quality and coverage
- Enter defect reports in the project’s approved defect tracking system
- Follow up and write technical reports from tests
- Participate in the development of test planning and test procedure documentation

Skills, knowledge and experience:

We expect you to have a general background in software testing and/or software development and that you are experienced in JavaScript. It is an advantage if you have experience in some of the following areas:

- Testing in Agile projects
- ISTQB certified
- Using version control (Git, SVN etc) and build systems (Jenkins or others)
- TCP/IP and IP overall knowledge
- Python and Bash
- Test case writing and execution.

If you also have experience in automated testing on all levels (unit testing to acceptance testing) you are probably our next team member!

As a person you need to be curious, have a strong inner drive, love execution and results, as well as have an eye for details and a sense of risk management.
