Description
We are looking for a test developer expert in network & communication testing for CARS.
For our customer's Computing Architecture department is responsible for the vehicle’s entire electrical architecture design regarding topology, logic architecture, function allocation and basetech.
The Base Technology team is a sub-team of Computing Architecture and responsible for requirements,
support, verification, internal training and development of future strategies for the complete base
technology area, which includes: AUTOSAR, Communication, Diagnostics, Software download, Hardware platform etc.
Tasks
As Network and communication test engineer at CEVT you will work together with Base Technology
concept owners to develop and maintain test specifications for the Network and communications area.
Your responsibilities include test development, test execution and analysis. Testing is performed in rigs, boxcars and complete vehicles.
• Keep updated on standards and Develop and maintain test scripts and test specifications for
Network and communication concepts.
• Base technology test tool support.
• Provide test support internally and to suppliers. Assess deviations.
• Support test engineers at cooperation partners
• Perform Network and communication system test in rigs and cars at CEVT.
• Support with fault tracing in vehicles and test rigs
• Log files analysis.
Qualifications
• Good knowledge of in vehicle electrical systems in general.
• Deep knowledge in communication protocols (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, LVDS, LIN)
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent area.
• Vector tools experience.
• Test automation knowledge.
• Experience from AUTOSAR specifications and architecture.
• Experience from Volvo Cars SPA Platform or CEVT CMA/GEEA2 platform is an advantage.
• Excellent English skills.
