Short description of the job

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Test Engineer to join our office in Gothenburg, Sweden.

As Test Engineer at FlexLink, you are part of the Testing, quality and maintenance team and an important link in further developing the quality in our products. You are based in Gothenburg and work in the office and in the testing facility but you are also engage in our field testing and follow up at customers in Sweden and abroad.


Main activities and responsibilities

In this role, you will develop testing and measuring methods for static and dynamic testing of our products. You build test equipment, follow up the test and document the result in reports. You will be a part of the development teams for new products and will provide input for improvements.

Some of your main tasks will include:
- Develop test methods
- Developing measuring methods
- Set up tests and follow up
- Write test reports
- Analyze and handle some customer requests


Key Competences / Leadership Attributes

As the ideal candidate, you are a person who is interested in a changing environment where you are participating in developing mechanical and mechatronic products. You have a large technical interest and like hands on work. We are looking for a person with drive that want to be part of developing the test department. You are responsible for verifying the technical limits in the FlexLink products.

Through your experiences, you have developed confidence in your decision-making and organizational skills. Contentiousness and target orientation is in your flesh and bones, while striving for excellence.


Education and experience

We would like you to have a Technical background, studying from a technical university. Also have a good understanding for design. You are comfortable and fluent in both Swedish and English. You have minimum 3-5 years' experience in working with testing and documenting of results. Overall you are an analytic, structured person that enjoys team working.

It is a plus if you have basic knowledge in Labview, PLC-programing, measuring instruments and sensors.
