We are now recruiting a Test Engineer.

Key Tasks
The Test Engineer is a key member of product development teams, safeguarding deliverables of the Test Department into the project(s) at the appropriate level. Typical areas of responsibility are Test, Verification and Validation, both in terms of requirement definition and execution. For this particular vacancy, you are also expected to be very active in capturing requirements and user needs, as well as driving method development within the department.

As Test Engineer you will:

Capture, process, and present user needs and other requirements

Assess and formulate testing, verification, and validation requirements

Specify, plan, coordinate, perform and follow up activities with regards to specific deliverables in development projects

Pinpoint development areas for the department in terms of capability and competence, to be able to deliver results at the appropriate level. This includes process and method development.

Develop, verify, and validate test methods

This position is located in Timrå and reports to the Manager Test & Analysis.

Your Background
We believe that you have a Medical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of work experience as development engineer or similar, with exposure to target setting, planning, testing, method development and other activities related to testing, verification and validation of mechanical systems and components. We also expect you to have in-depth knowledge and understanding of power wheelchairs, preferably Permobil products.

You are used to working in projects, can manage stress, have a logical and analytical way of thinking, and have good business English and presentation skills. We also expect you to have good relationship management and communication skills.

To be successful in this position we believe that you have great attention to detail, are well structured, motivated by challenges and love to achieve strong results through teamwork.
