Test Engineer

We are now looking for a Test Engineer for our client within the automotive industry here in Gothenburg. You will be working as a consultant in a team out on customer site in the department responsible for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system of the vehicle.
You will join a dynamic team responsible for software deployment, vehicle platform services, start and electrical energy management as well as cyber security and communications. It’s an Agile team working according to SAFe. The main deliveries include Sub-system Design, Requirements Handling, Test Cases Development, Automation – scripts development and testing in CI, and System Testing.
Job duties:
• Develop test cases for requirements and implement in CI Device
• Implement failure mode test cases
• Identify test needs, execute test, and drive the implementation of test automation
• Support fault tracing and/or troubleshooting activities
• Contribute to system testing and update of test methods, tools and processes
• Work with continuous improvements within the team
Experience required:
• A degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of working as a Tester creating test cases and automated testing.
• Experience of working with requirements and protocols.
• Experience of Agile way of working

Skills required:
• Skilled in the following tools: CAN/CANoe/Python/CAPL, Robot Framework/Jenkins/ Gerrit/GIT/ System Weaver
• Driven with a strong Can-Do attitude and positive mind-set
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills
• Result and business oriented
• A real teamplayer
• Driver’s license B
